I remember when I shotting Dancing, I felt this feminie vibe. As I continued to shoot I indulged in what I was feeling, riding its intuitive wave. I suddenly felt like I was in a fashion photoshoot, a graceful beautiful model in dacing for the camera, holding her hair up for the shot, the studio lights casting her shadow on the backdrop....
In my photography, I explore the city, in constant motion, finding relationships in the oddest of places, all around us. Things that often don't cross our minds in our daily hustle, much less willing to spend hours every weekend on them. Constantly asking what else can things be?
Urban Wear is an extension of my fine art photography, as I explore the concept of the effect a given surface has on an image. I try to avoid printing a phtograph on a different surface just to have my artwork on a shirt or shoe. Instead I seek designs where the image and surface coalesce together and create something unique, different than the sum of its parts. It doesn't work with any image nor on any surface.
The two need to sing when brought together, I only hope you find within this collection something that sings to you as it did to me.
