Rotating the earth

One of the things I enjoy and try to capture when I'm taking photographs of nature, is an image that can emulate something completely different. For example, in the image I have selected for this post is a picture that I passed by several times in my Lightroom collection, liking it but knowing something was missing in the image, just couldn't figure out what that was.

What was first a stone with cacti on the side, following my head I found myself looking at the picture sideways...

..and found it. I flipped the image on its side and fell in love with the cacto-afro-parakeet.

Thanks for reading,
